Giving the “thumbs up” to announcing plans for a $15 million shopping center and supermarket complex to be constructed on La Salle University’s property in Northwest Philadelphia are State Rep. John Myers; Pat Burns, owner of the Fresh Grocer supermarket chain; Eric S. Seidman, of Moreland Development, LLC; Philadelphia City Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller; Mrs. Elaine “Ma” Richardson, mother of the late State Rep. David Richardson; La Salle President Brother Michael McGinniss; and State Rep. Dwight Evans.
Planning for the supermarket and shopping center, to be located on Chew Avenue between Church Lane and Wister Street, is under way.
