La Salle University Announces a New Location
in Montgomery County

La Salle University announced a new home for its location in Montgomery County. Beginning in January 2008, La Salle will move into the new state-of-the-art Metroplex Corporate Center in Plymouth Meeting. 

Currently, La Salle offers graduate-level courses in business administration and psychology on the campus of Gwynedd-Mercy College in Montgomery County. The move to the Metroplex Center provides La Salle with a centrally-located site, convenient for graduate and continuing studies students from Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties. 

At the new Metroplex location, La Salle will continue to offer its MBA and clinical-counseling psychology programs. In the future, La Salle plans to add other course offerings at the Plymouth Meeting site. 

According to Paul Brazina, La Salle’s Dean of the School of Business, the Metroplex Corporate Center is an ideal location to expand La Salle’s MBA program. “The counties surrounding the Metroplex continue to attract successful businesses with talented employees. As an AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited business school, La Salle offers a wide variety of programs to enhance the local workforce and build value for productive careers,” said Brazina. 

Like the MBA program, La Salle’s Clinical-Counseling Psychology Program is structured to accommodate adult learners and working professionals. 

“Depending on their concentration of study, most clinical-counseling psychology graduate students are able to complete their coursework entirely at the Montgomery County site,” said Donna Tonrey, Psy.D, LMFT, Director of the Clinical Counseling Psychology Program at the Montgomery County Campus.  

At Metroplex Center’s state-of-the-art facilities, La Salle will house classrooms, a computer lab, an all-purpose room, and administrative offices.  

The Metroplex Corporate Center is located at 4400 Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting, which is easily accessible from I-476, the Pennsylvania Turnpike and its Northeast Extension.
