Social Work Emotional Trauma and Recovery Donna Fiedler Assistant Professor, Social Work 215-951-1117 (office) Dr. Fieldler has worked with victims of both physical trauma, such as floods and fires, and emotional trauma, such as childhood sexual abuse. She says that while the physical damage is immediately dealt with in such situations, the emotional toll is often overlooked. She has consulted with organizations such as the Red Cross to train staff there to work with trauma victims. |
