STATEMENT
ON COACHING POSITIONS
From La Salle University Athletic Director Thomas

"I
am currently in the process of interviewing candidates for the men's
and women's basketball coaching positions here at La Salle. Once
that process is completed, I will make recommendations to the President,
Brother Michael, as to who are the best candidates to fill these
positions.
“We
all understand the importance of these decisions in light of recent
events.
“The
President and I are confident that we will name individuals who
have strong coaching qualifications and who exemplify and reinforce
the values that the University stands for. We look forward to a
new era in La Salle basketball.
“In
fairness to everyone involved, there will be no comments made on
individual candidates until we have made our final decisions.”
