<title>The classic interviews, 1965-1966 [sound recording] / Bob Dylan. </title>
<description>This CD is a fascinating, previously undocumented look at what Dylan was thinking during this evolutionary and pivotal stage in his career. Bringing together recordings of press conferences held in San Francisco and Los Angeles during late '65, and completing the package with the notorious interview undertaken by Martin Bronstein while in Canada early the next year, this is a timely reminder of what was going on in the Dylan camp during his most creative period. -- back of case. <title>The classic interviews. Volume 3 [sound recording] : 1979-1981 / Bob Dylan. </title>
<description>Chrome Dreams: CIS2014. Compact disc. In association with the international Dylan magazine ISIS -- case cover. Program PUBLISHERs included in container insert. Bob Dylan with various interviewers. The interviews contained on this CD cover one of the most important and intriguing junctures in Bob Dylan's entire career. 1978 had been a harrowing year for Dylan; his mariage had finally broken down and a painful divorce was followed by a long and bitter custody battle in which he lost guardianship of his children. His huge 1978 world tour was in part undertaken as a diversion from these frustrations, but the road brought him little solace and by the final stages of the tour he was at an all time low. It was against this background of disappointments and frustrations that one of America's most celebrated Jews encountered Christ and became Born Again. This collection of interviews gives unique insights into Dylan's throughts during this pivotal and highly creative period. -- case. Surrey, UK : Chrome Dreams, p2006. <title>Where soldiers come from [videorecording]. </title>
<description>Originally produced as a motion picture in 2011. Production companies, Quincy Hill Films + ITVS, American Documentary/POV. Directed and produced by Heather Courtney ; cinematography by Heather Courtney, Justin Hennard. Winner: Traverse City Film Festival, Best U.S. Documentary ; Winner: SXSW Film Festival Editing ; Winner Philadelphia Film Festival, Jury Award, Best Documentary Feature ; Official Selection : Los Angeles Film Festival ; Official Selection : Silverdocs. In Michigan's snowy Upper Peninsula, job opportunities are few, and friends are usually for life. For Dominic Fredianelli and his high school buddies, joining the National Guard offered a $20,000 windfall and assistance with college tuition--all for only one weekend a month. Little did they know. This documentary follows three of these young men over four eventful years: through basic training and a 2009 deployment to an explosives unit in Afghanistan; to visits with their families while they are overseas; and the rocky return home, without commentary. Focusing on the reverberations of war in small, close-knit communities the film offers a commentary on class, as the real cost of distant political decisions are illuminated, as well as the shame of a country with little to offer its less fortunate young people than a ticket to a battlefield. Austin, TX : Quincy Hill Films, LLC ; San Francisco, CA : ITVS, 2011. DS371.413 .W54 2011dvd. </description>
