Learning how to play the guitar can me difficult and very frustrating. It takes time and patience. You can't expect to just pick up a guitar and play like your favorite rock star. I have seen this happen to my friends and they can't play a song they want to know and they just give up. When I first started to play I learned the C scale. From there I learned different chords and started to teach myself different songs from my favorite band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It took me a couple of years to really understand the guitar and what you can really do with it. I learned how to bend strings and make multiple souns with the same note. I learned how to play standing up and to move around when I play. When learning to play some people use tablature to learn how to play. Tablature is a very easy way to learn how to play. It tells you exactly what notes to play. It uses numbers so you know what notes to play, just count the frets to see what note it says to play. It's as simple as that!
