Congratulations are in order:

• Dr. James Butler's edition of Owen Wister’s previously unpublished novel, Romney, was named most notable book of the year by the Columbus Dispatch. Butler also has an essay "Home (at Grasmere and 'On the Range'): Wordsworth and Owen Wister's 'The Virginian' in Wordsworth and American Literary Culture, a volume just published in England by Palgrave-Macmillan.




• Dr. Butler and Dr. Kevin Harty are featured experts in videos produced by Films for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Harty appears in all three videos in the series, Tracing the Arthurian Tradition, while Butler is among the Wordsworth scholars in Spots of Time. See films.com.
  

• Dr. Judith Musser has been funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities to work on a two-volume collection of African American Women's Short Stories of the Harlem Renaissance.
