Personal

2012-13 will mark the sesquicentennial of the founding of La Salle University. Clicking on the logo will take you to the home page, which contains information about celebratory activities both on- and off-campus.

Lasallian Education centers on Catholic values and personal relationships, emphasizing academic excellence, faith formation, inclusion, respect for the individual, service and social justice.

The Christian Brothers: have been my life for over four decades, since I first met them in high school in Philadelphia. They (both individually and collectively) have inspired me to be the person I am. Working in the four corners of the world for over 300 years, the Brothers have aided thousands to leave behind the misery that results from a lack of education.
Travel Over the years I've had the good fortune to travel to Western Europe (notably Ireland, England, France, and Germany), Israel, and parts of the Caribbean. Having worked in Maryland and Tennessee, I've had occasion to travel extensively in those areas too.
Exploring the Web / Favorite Web Sites Nothing has transformed the world more in the past 20 years than the explosion of the World Wide Web and its hypertext links.  It is an important source of information, commerce, and entertainment. Now there's even more to do online, with such things as "blogs" and "wikis." Come see my own rather simple blog. For the more adventurous, you can create a "Second Life."

One of the most novel developments in the Internet of recent years has been the development of "wikis," collections of information submitted and edited by visitors to a web site.  Wikipedia is a free, web-based encyclopedia based upon the same principal.
