An in-depth This course examines legal, social, and ethical issues of computing. Topics include: laws regarding computer use; privacy both on and off line; cryptography and encryption; effects of September 11; attacks on computer systems; ethics and codes of ethics; risks and responsibilities of computing; effects of computers on society and culture.
