What activities was the nominee involved with as a student?

Resident life Judicial board (1984-1985); Sigma Phi Lambda fraternity (1985 – 1988): Executive board (secretary), alumni chair; and Student assistant – Admissions office and Communication department

How has the nominee remained active as an alumnus?

As an alum, I was a founding member and one of the original officers (VP) of the Committee of Explorers, the alumni association of Sigma Phi Lambda fraternity, since its inception in 2011. I was actively involved in the planning for the Sig Phi 75th and 80th anniversary celebrations and am co-chair with my son Gavin for the 85th celebration in 2020. I was also an original member of the steering committee for the Bro. Gerry Molyneaux Professorship.

We support and attend La Salle basketball games, homecoming and alumni events each year.

Outside of La Salle, I am involved in the Atlantic County Board of Realtors, was Treasurer for 3 years for Ventnor Little League baseball and was Treasurer for Atlantic County Amateur Scholastic Rowing Association – Atlantic City High School Crew for 5 years.

Why does the nominee want to run for the Alumni Board? 

“I remain active in promoting La Salle University and engaging more alumni to become active.  My wife, my brother, our son all attended La Salle and I would enjoy devoting my time and energy into giving back to the University.”
