Drexel Hill, PA
Major: Political Science and minor in Leadership and Global Understanding
The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania MBA Program Office, Coordinator, Co-Curricular Programs
Involvement as a student: Honors Program; La Salle Ambassadors; Resident Student Association Executive Board; Resident Advisor; and travel-study participant as part of Leadership and Global Understanding Program to Hong Kong, Thailand, Chile, Germany, and Vietnam.
Post Graduation Involvement:
I have been an active alumnus, interviewing students through the Explorer Interview program, serving on Ambassador alumni panels during their training, attending LGU and Honors Program events, as well as other hallmark events, like Homecoming. Additionally, I spearheaded an effort to create an alumni network for the LGU Program, which was in it’s early stages when I was a student, and now has a robust alumni network that has yet to be fully realized.
Why would you like to serve on the Alumni Board?
“I directly credit my experiences at La Salle as the reason I work in higher ed, and anyone who knows me will attest to my passion for my chosen field. In the past few years, I’ve been interested in ways to re-engage and up my level of involvement with the university. Ideally, I’d like to be involved in a way that I feel I can make an impact, and bring my own experiences and skill set to the table. Running for a seat on the alumni board has been something I’ve considered as a way to do so. I’m well-equipped to be a part of the board, particularly as my educational background and my day-to-day job in Academic Affairs at Wharton keeps all-things higher education consistently top of mind for me. I have a strong affinity for La Salle, and consider it a great way to give back to the school that has given me so much.”
