Jim Gillece oversees all human capital management for over 65,000 employees at AlliedBarton. Jim is a member of the AlliedBarton Senior Executive Council and an owner in the company. Prior to AlliedBarton, Jim spent over eighteen years in various leadership positions with Pfizer. Inc. Under Mr. Gillece’s leadership, AlliedBarton has won numerous awards for its human resources practices and coaching, leadership training, and innovation in leadership development. Jim is a national speaker in the areas of Human Capital Management and a member of the Talent Magazine Editorial Board. Jim has contributed as a featured author on human resources topics focusing on driving productivity and executive coaching for ExecBlueprints and the Inside the Mind publication for Human Capital Best Practices.
Jim is a 1989 graduate of LaSalle University earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing and later received his Master in Business Administration degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing at The Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University, where he was recognized as a Beta Gamma Sigma graduate, the highest academic achievement in the study of business, as well as the Executive Leadership Award from Haub. Jim also received a postgraduate certificate from the Yale Executive School of Management in Leadership and Team Development. In addition to Pfizer and AlliedBarton, Jim has been involved with the Special Olympics, United Way, and as a local Board member for the American Heart Association. Also, he was appointed by Philadelphia Mayor Nutter to the Board of Philadelphia Works.
