Why take this minor?
Students enrolled in the interdisciplinary Sport Management minor will explore the broad scope of the sport and recreation industry and the wide variety of associated career opportunities. Academic offerings include foundational coursework in business as well as sport-related courses from a variety of academic disciplines across the university, including management, analytics, communication, economics marketing, and psychology.
Open to any undergraduate in the university, the minor can be tailored to suit the student’s interests and background.
Students are encouraged to supplement their academic requirements with relevant internships, networking with industry professionals, and participation in relevant extracurricular activities.
