Traveling to Philadelphia

Flying to Philadelphia is a simple affair. Travel experts agree that Philadelphia boasts one of the best international airports in the United States; large and modern, it features daily flights to locations all over the world.

The carrier with the most flights to and from Philadelphia International Airport is American Airlines. Reservations through American Airlines and other carriers can be made through online travel sites.

Public transportation from the airport to La Salle University, including the SEPTA Airport Shuttle and Regional Rail train line.

By Bus or Train

Regular intercity bus service to Philadelphia is provided by Greyhound and SEPTA.

Rail service is provided by Amtrak’s Capitol Limitedand Pennsylvanian, which connect Philadelphia with cities to the east and west, including Chicago, Baltimore, and New York City. Consult a travel agent for detailed information.

Philadelphia’s Amtrak station is located at 30thStreet Station: 2955 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19104. From there, you can either take a SEPTA bus, taxi or a ride share, in order to get to La Salle’s main campus.
