Major: Criminal Justice; Sociology, Minor: Psychology
I graduated from Community College Of Philadelphia (CCP) were I majored in criminal justice. I was able to transfer to La Salle by applying through CCP’s dual admission program. Upon my acceptance, in the Fall of 2017, I transferred to the college as a junior in criminal justice. After my first semester, I picked up a second major in sociology and a minor in psychology. My experience at La Salle has been one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The students, staff, and faculty all treated me with respect and welcomed me into their family environment with open arms. Although my first semester started off rough, I was able to excel from then on due to the support of the staff. The dedication of the staff and faculty towards their students is one of the reasons that I am glad that I chose to be a part of the La Salle community. In addition, the confidence that the staff and faculty had in me made me work as twice as hard to make sure I always put a hundred percent into my classes. The overwhelming support from La Salle employees is undeniable and they push all of their students past their limits because they want to see each student succeed. After graduation, I will be working in the mental health field and then a year later I will be going to graduate school majoring in psychology to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
