Students who graduate during the 2018-19 academic year generally are permitted to participate in the ceremony. This includes students who completed their coursework in August or December 2018 and May 2019.
Graduation is not an automatic process. The Registrar’s Office can answer many of your questions about receiving a diploma. Specific questions regarding academic eligibility, application for graduation, or academic requirements should be directed to your academic adviser or your Dean’s office.
In addition to the University-wide Commencement ceremony, individual schools or departments may have special events for their graduates. Check with your academic department or the individual school ceremony pages for more information.
Tickets are not required for your guests to attend. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Tickets are not required for your guests to enter into the McCarthy Stadium for the ceremony. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
In the event of inclement weather, the Undergraduate Ceremony will be held indoors at TruMark Financial Center. Information regarding the decision to move the ceremony indoors will be communicated via the University’s website and social media accounts.
If held in TruMark Financial Center, tickets will be required for your guests to attend and will be sent to each student electronically. A maximum of four tickets will be allotted to each student. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
