Undergraduate Ceremony Weather Contingency Plan

Tickets will be required for entrance into each ceremony, sent to each graduate electronically.  A maximum of 4 tickets will be allotted to each student.  Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. 

All previously submitted Accessible Seating Requests will be honored at the individual ceremonies, however a ticket will still be required for each guest.

10:00 a.m. Commencement Ceremony
School of Business and School of Nursing and Health Sciences

Between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., only guests holding this ceremony’s tickets will be admitted to the TruMark Financial Center. The doors of the TruMark Financial Center will be closed at 9:40 a.m. to allow the Academic Procession to move into Gola Arena. Doors will reopen to ticket holders at the conclusion of the procession (estimated time: 10:15 a.m.)

3 p.m. Commencement Ceremony
School of Arts and Sciences

Between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., only guests holding this ceremony’s tickets will be admitted to the TruMark Financial Center. The doors of the TruMark Financial Center will be closed at 2:40 p.m. to allow the Academic Procession to move into Gola Arena. Doors will reopen to ticket holders at the conclusion of the procession (estimated time: 3:15 p.m.)

Graduate Vesting

All students will report to St. Benilde Tower at least 1 hour prior to their ceremony time to vest.  All procedures for What Happens Once I Arrive and What Happens During the Ceremony will remain the same.

Guest Information

Guest Arrival and Seating
All guests will sit in arena bleachers or floor seating, and ushers will be present to provide assistance with seating.

Accessible Seating Accommodations
The accessible seating area will be located in the back of the floor seating in the Tom Gola Arena. Accessible seating accommodations are reserved for: persons with physical limitations; those with visual or hearing impairments; those who have difficulty climbing stairs because of knee, leg, or back problems, and elderly persons. Due to limited seating, a maximum of one family member or friend may be seated in this section with the guest needing accessible seating.  All previously submitted Accessible Seating Requests will be honored at the individual ceremonies, however a ticket will still be required for each guest.

Simulcast Broadcast
The Commencement Ceremony will be simulcast in the Founders’ Hall Auditorium,  and Dan Rodden Theatre located on the first floor of the La Salle Union Building. Tickets are not required to view the ceremony from this alternate location. Seating is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

La Salle Outpost
The La Salle Outpost, located in Wister Hall, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Webcast
Both ceremonies will be streamed on the University’s Facebook page and on the website at www.lasalle.edu/webcast.
