A native Philadelphian and mother of four, a successful author, and a busy professor, Donna Celano still finds time for traveling with her family to places like Inspiration Point in Grand Teton National Park (pictured here with her husband and one of her children). Donna has conducted research into the differences of how low- and middle-income children gain knowledge through their media usage and has just published a book, Giving Our Children a Fighting Chance.

Donna teaches Introduction to Mass Media, Media Research, and Media in America. In the ever-changing world of mass media, she challenges herself to keep up with its changing face in order to prepare La Salle students to enter the dynamic world of mass media.
