Andy is currently the Executive Director of Next Century Cities where he leads a talented team focused on on supporting equitable and affordable broadband access and adoption across the country. With more than 25 years spent in higher education\, Andy has extensive experience in the fields of technology\, STEM education\, digital equity\, and workforce development. Andy led the digital equity initiatives at Drexel University for many years\, including the development of a Digital Navigator program that led ACP outreach\, digital skills development\, computer refurbishing and distribution. As the former chair of the Technology Learning Collaborative\, he helped transform the digital equity coalition into a nonprofit organization with strong leadership and tremendous reach.  \n\n\n\nProceeds support 2024-25 CSC Advisory Board Events including: Travel for conferences and programming competitions; membership in UPE Honors Society; networking and career planning with CSC Advisory Board; sponsored events and speakers; computing workshops and Hackathons; and support to the Stephen A. DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the 11th Annual James (Jimmy) Staerk\, ’81\, Memorial Golf Tournament! This long-standing alumni event will take place on Wednesday\, Oct. 2\, at the Little Mill Country Club in Marlton\, N.J. \n\n\n\nThe outing will support the La Salle men’s basketball program with a portion of the proceeds contributed to the James W. Staerk\, ’81\, Memorial Scholarship Fund for students with documented disabilities at La Salle University.  \n\n\n\nThe James Staerk\, ’81\, Memorial Scholarship is named after James (Jimmy) Staerk and was established after he passed away in 2014. Jimmy was confined to a wheelchair his whole life and needed help to open doors\, but that never stopped him. Now\, Jimmy’s legacy helps open doors to La Salle students who face similar challenges.  \n\n\n\nTo sign up to golf or to become a sponsor\, please register. The deadline for tee sponsors is Monday\, Sept. 16. Each year we recognize an individual with The Lasallian Leadership Award\, for displaying outstanding leadership as well as Lasallian values in corporate\, civic\, and governmental communities throughout our region. The Lasallian Leadership Award has been annually awarded since the founding of the event.
