Robert T. Cottone began his career in the construction industry over 30 years ago. After a decade of running his own firm, Cottone joined IMC Construction in 1986 as a project manager and worked up the ranks to his present position as President and CEO. He has led over a billion dollars’ worth of development and construction in the health-care, education, retail, office, multifamily and commercial markets nationwide. IMC Construction was presented with the Lasallian Impact Award in 2017 at the Annual Charter Dinner. Cottone also is President of Citadel National Construction Group, a multibillion dollar national construction group comprised of seven best-of-class regional construction firms located coast to coast. 


Br. Timothy Froehlich, FSC, M.A. ’90

Director of Finance, Brother of the Christian Schools

Returning to La ­Salle’s Board of Trustees, Brother Timothy James Froehlich, FSC, M.A., ’90, has been a member of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools since 1982. As the director of finance at the District of Eastern North America (DENA) since 2009, he serves on several boards including the Board of the National Association of Treasurers for Religious Institutes, and he was the director of finance at Baltimore Province and an investment consultant at Christian Brothers Investment Services Inc. Br. Timothy obtained a master’s degree in theology from La ­Salle in 1990, an undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in management and a minor in sociology from Duquesne University and a teaching certificate in accounting from St. Joseph’s University.


Br. William Mann, FSC

President Emeritus, St. Mary’s University of Minnesota

Brother William Mann, FSC, is President emeritus of Saint Mary’s University Minnesota. Br. William led Saint Mary’s for nearly 10 years until his departure in May 2018. Prior to becoming President, Br. William served on Saint Mary’s Board of Trustees and spent almost 30 years in leadership roles with the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, including serving as vicar general from 2000-07, the second highest role in the Institute. He joined the Brothers in 1965 and taught at schools in New York and Rhode Island.


Elaine Pang, ’86

Managing Director, Magma Trading

Elaine Pang, ’86, graduated from La ­Salle with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Pang currently serves as managing director for Magma Trading, a firm that has developed a platform for market-makers and order-entry broker-dealers to interact anonymously to improve execution quality. Magma Trading’s management team includes professionals who have been CEOs and senior executives of several large Wall Street technology and trading firms. Pang previously worked as managing director of Madison Paige Capital LLC, Oppenheimer and Banc of Manhattan.

Chairman and CEO, KB US Holdings

Returning to La ­Salle’s Board of Trustees, Judith “Judy” Spires, ’75, MBA ’09, is the President and CEO of AG Supermarket Holdings. Previously she was president of Acme Markets. Among Spires’ highlighted awards include the 2016 Top Women in Grocery Trailblazer from Progressive Grocer and the Chicago-based Network of Executive Women. In 2012 she was presented with the Gold Stevie Award naming her Female Executive of the Year for Consumer Services. In 2011 Spires was inducted into the Network of Executive Women’s CPG Retail Diversity Hall of Fame. Spires also received the prestigious 2009 Paradigm Award from the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and, in 2010, the La ­Salle University Leadership Award.
