The Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, ’80, honored La Salle’s School of Business student, Summer Love, ’22, with the 2019 Gustave G. Amsterdam Leadership Award at the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia’s annual Mayoral Luncheon on January 31.

Love was one of two local students to receive the award at the luncheon, presented by Comcast Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer David L. Cohen at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. The award includes a $5,000 scholarship and recognizes students for academic achievement, leadership skills, and a commitment to community service.

At La Salle, Love is pursuing her degree in finance and marketing.
