As always, this year’s Family Weekend in September gave students and their families a chance to make themselves at home on La Salle’s campus and in the City of Brotherly Love. Warm, sunny weather offered the perfect background for an enjoyable open-air trolley ride throughout the city and a spectacular afternoon at the nation’s oldest zoo.

With a welcome feast at Treetops Café, impressive collections on view at the La Salle University’s Art Museum, and a wide array of games and activities at Carnifall, families found plenty to explore right on campus. The whole Hanycz family joined in the Carnifall fun and gathered in worship at the De La Salle Chapel for Family Weekend Liturgy. La Salle Parent and President Colleen Hanycz, Ph.D., hosted dinner in the Ballroom and stopped by each table to say hello to students and their families.
