Retired religion professor of more than 40 years, Geffrey Kelly, Ph.D., died of pancreatic cancer on May 30, 2017. He was 84.

Kelly earned five academic degrees in religious studie s, two at La ­Salle, along with three prominent La Salle teaching awards. “He always looked for another perspective and encouraged us to do the same,” said former-student Michael Donovan, ’05.
