Ohoud Abdel-Aziz

Major: Nursing
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.
My name is Ohoud Abdel-Aziz and I am a junior nursing major from North Philadelphia. A tip for the incoming freshman is to get involved as much as possible. You want to build those connections that are going to help you kick start your career post graduation. My favorite thing about La Salle is the campus, especially in the spring when everything is blooming and students can hang out on the quad to soak up the beautiful sun.

Kelly Grugan

Major: Communication Sciences and Disorders
Hometown: Haddon Township, NJ
Hello. My name is Kelly Grugan and I am a junior Communication and Science Disorder major with a minor in Psychology. I am from Haddon Township, New Jersey, right over the Ben Franklin Bridge. One of my favorite things about La Salle is the environment and community. Everyone on campus is always so welcoming and always willing to lend a hand to help. A piece of advice I would give to the incoming students is to branch out and get involved. Getting involved is a great way to build relationships with other students and faculty and make great connections. Getting involved was super easy and I encourage all new students to try out some of our fun clubs around campus.

Erin Holly

Major: Communication
Hometown: Skippack, Pa.
Hello. My name is Erin Holly and I am a Junior Communication student with a track in broadcast journalism and a minor in Spanish. I am from Skippack, Pennsylvania, just about a 35-minute drive from La Salle. One of my favorite things about La Salle is the variety of opportunities there are to get involved in different extracurricular activities, organizations, and clubs on campus. A piece of advice I would give to incoming students is to join multiple extracurricular clubs because this will allow you to build connections and friendships with other Explorers very quickly. Getting involved from the start of my time at La Salle has shaped my college experience to be as amazing as it is today!

Andi La

Hi! My name is Andi La. I am a rising junior from Willow Grove, PA, and I am double majoring in computer science and mathematics. My favorite thing about La Salle is the community! Whether it’s classmates, staff members, or professors, everyone is so kind and willing to help you however they can. A quick tip for incoming students is to keep an open mind. College is a new experience and a fresh start for everyone and in the end, it’s going to be what you make of it.
