COVID-19 Guidance

COVID-19 Vaccine requirement

La Salle requires that all members of the University’s campus community receive an initial COVID-19 vaccine:

  • 2 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine OR
  • 2 doses of the Moderna vaccine OR
  • 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson/Jannsen vaccine

Masks are available on campus

Masks are optional on campus, and required in certain areas such as the COVID-19 testing center, clinical settings, and some classrooms at faculty discretion. The following locations on campus have supplies of surgical and KN-95 masks available for free to all students, faculty and staff throughout the semester.

  • Blue & Gold Dining Hall
  • Connelly Library Information Desk
  • TruMark Financial Center Lobby
  • Information Technology Help Desk (Hayman Hall, 2nd Floor)
  • Office of Admission (Lawrence Administration Center, Main Floor)
  • Union 301 Testing Center


COVID-19 Dashboard

La Salle University's COVID-19 dashboard captures the number of estimated confirmed cases of COVID-19 among employees, residential students, and non-residential students who maintain a campus presence. (You will receive notification from a representative of the University’s or City of Philadelphia’s contact tracing efforts if you have been in close contact with one of these cases.)

The dashboard will be updated at least once weekly.

Important information: If you have tested positive for COVID-19; have had close contact (within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes during a 24-hour span) with individual(s) who have tested positive for COVID-19; or are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19:

Students

  1. Stay home and do not report to campus.
  2. Contact your personal health care provider.
  3. Complete the COVID-19 Disclosure Form.
  4. Email COVID19@lasalle.edu
  5. Connect with your instructor(s) to make arrangements to continue your academic coursework.

Employees

  1. Stay home and do not report to campus.
  2. Contact your personal health care provider.
  3. Complete the COVID-19 Disclosure Form.
  4. Email COVID19@lasalle.edu
  5. Connect with your supervisor(s) to make arrangements to continue your work remotely, if possible.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), among other global health organizations, continue to monitor the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (called COVID-19) pandemic. COVID-19 cases have been detected in more than 175 countries worldwide.
