Elizabeth Zorzanello Emery has practiced in the field of dietetics for over 30 years and is a Licensed Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Drexel University and completed clinical training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds a Master of Science in Health Education from St. Joseph’s University, a Master's certificate in Instructional Technology Management from La Salle University, and a Doctor of Education in Education and Leadership in Healthcare from Nebraska Methodist College.
Ms. Emery joined the faculty at La Salle in 2004 after three years on the faculty at Drexel University and adjunct teaching at the Community College of Philadelphia prior to that. She has been the recipient of several teaching awards, including the Make a Difference Award given by the Drexel University Student Athletes, the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award given by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Outstanding Dietetics Award from the Pennsylvania Dietetics Association. She is the author of Clinical Case Studies for the Nutrition Care Process, now in its second edition, by Jones and Bartlett Learning.
