One BIG Weekend is just around the corner and we can’t wait to see you there! This new event combines our traditional Homecoming and Family Weekend events to create One BIG Weekend of entertainment for all ages.

Students, parents, and alums are all invited to join in on the fun and festivities, mingle with friends old and new, get to know the La Salle community, see our exciting campus upgrades, and to make new memories that will last a lifetime.

Often noted as a hidden gem among Philadelphia's art community, the La Salle University Art Museum offers an impressive and diverse collection of original works in an intimate setting for the University community and general public. We invite you to visit and experience our newest exhibition, "Between Heaven and Hades: Journeys in Renaissance and Baroque Prints" will be on view along with paintings, drawings and sculptures from the Renaissance to the present.

Residence Hall Guest Registration

For visiting family members

Family members visiting you during One Big Weekend and they wish to be your guest in a residential community, they can register in 2 ways:

  • Families can register for residence halls access at the University Advancement tables set-up at various times and locations around campus. If they check-in at a table for the event and wish to option a residence hall pass, you will need to be present with your family as they check in.
  • Families can register at the Security Desk Receptionist (SDR) Booth at the Residential Community where you reside. Registration is available at SDR booths on Friday evening from 4:00pm- 8:00pm, on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and on Sunday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.


Regardless of location, the registration process for guests during One Big Weekend is the same.


  1. Only families with residential students may register to be guests in our residential communities.
  2. The student is required to be present at registration.
  3. Families must sign in on the Family Weekend Registration Log, IDs are not required. Families will be issued yellow (color?) visitor cards
  4. This registration is ONLY valid during the times listed above in item 2. After 5 p.m. on Sunday, One Big Weekend Family Visitor Cards are no longer valid and all guests must be signed in following normal guest registration rules, which require presentation of a Federal/State picture ID.
  5. Guests under 16 are not allowed in the residential communities after 8 p.m. Guests ages 16-17 may complete the Minor Guest Registration prior to One Big Weekend to request to stay on campus after 8 p.m.


Please be aware that NO individuals under the age of 16 are permitted in the Residential Communities after 8 p.m.
