President Allen began his tenure as La Salle University’s 30th President on April 18, 2022.
In May 2023, the Board of Trustees approved the university’s new strategic plan, Ascend 2023-2028. The six pillars in the plan will set La Salle on the path to be the leading Lasallian educational institution, rooted in the liberal arts and aligned with emerging industries, that prepares students for the challenges and complexities of living and working in a diverse democracy and global society.
With enrollment numbers on the rise and 40% increase in residential students since 2024, the University has opened a variety of new on-campus living options.
Jude Husein, ‘21, M.A. ‘25, has used the foundations from her La Salle University education to give back to Philadelphia and the state through her roles in government and nonprofits.
The action taken by the commission noted that the University is now in compliance with all standards of accreditation.
