Sean L. Corgan, Esq., was appointed Vice President and General Counsel of La Salle University in February 2021. Corgan joined the University in 2016 as Assistant General Counsel, and served as Associate General Counsel before his appointment his role in the University’s Executive Cabinet. Corgan is responsible for advising the President, the Board of Trustees, and University leadership on a variety of matters in support of the University’s mission, goals and objectives. He also serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining La Salle, Corgan was in the private practice of law, most recently as a partner with a mid-size law firm in Center City Philadelphia specializing in litigation. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, and is admitted to the United States District Courts of New Jersey, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
Corgan earned his law degree from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, and undergraduate degree from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
