Jack Downey participated in the La Salle “Camden Aware” service trip in May. He trained Tibetan activists from Asia, Europe, and North America in direct action climbing in Upstate, New York. He also attended the Wabash Center’s Workshop for Early Career Religion Faculty at Colleges and Universities in Indiana this past July. Jack also represented La Salle at the Lasallian Summer Seminar for Professors at St. Mary’s in Wisconsin. Lastly, Jack conducted research into the 19th century missionary work of the Sisters of St. Ann in Alaska. This research was done at the Royal BC Archives in Victoria, British Columbia.
