La Salle University’s Undergraduate Nursing Program has received full approval status from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing after achieving an 83.33 percent first-time passing rate on the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®) exam, based on results from the NCLEX-RN® 2014–15 testing period.
Students in this program have the opportunity to learn from faculty who are known nationally and internationally for leadership and scholarship and to gain firsthand experience in a variety of clinical settings—from community clinics to large health systems.
Fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the Undergraduate Nursing program has implemented a series of evidence-based measures to ensure that we are graduating students who are not only prepared for the NCLEX-RN® exam, but also the rigorous requirements of the nursing profession.
La Salle’s dedicated nursing faculty fully equip students to enter today’s highly complex health care environments and to build a career in the wide range of professions available to nurses today by promoting strong communication and interprofessional collaboration in a supportive environment.
