As part of Autism Awareness Month in April, Philadelphia’s NBC10 featured the speech-language clinic at La Salle, which is part of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Sharon Greis, M.S., CCC/SLP, BRS-S, a speech-language pathologist and clinical supervisor at the clinic, was interviewed regarding Philadelphia Councilman Derek Green’s son, Julian, who has autism. Looking for the support needed for Julian, the Green family turned to the speech-language clinic.
