Assistant Professor of Nursing

Dolores (Dee) Matecki received a diploma as a graduate nurse in 1979 from Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing. She received her BSN from Holy Family University in 1983 and a MSN in Burns, Emergency and Trauma from Widener University in 1987. She plans on completing an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2013.

Upon graduation in 1979, Dolores Matecki was an ICU nurse and has been an ER nurse for the last 30 years. She is currently practicing at Temple Episcopal Emergency Room, and is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association. For the past 11 years, she has taught at Philadelphia Community College, Widener University, Penn State University, and La Salle. She teaches Introduction to Professional Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.
