Jen Curley, LCSW, MSS, MLSP (she/her) lives in Chicago, IL. Jen is a therapist, working primarily with people who have experienced trauma and grief and loss, as well as with queer, trans, and gender nonconforming people. Her work as a therapist draws on her previous experience working as a community and youth organizer around issues of affordable housing, sexual violence and relationship abuse, and with LGBTQIA+ communities. She believes that healing and social justice are deeply interconnected and grounds her work in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks and practices. Jen is an alum of La Salle’s BSW program (‘03) and has a Master of Social Service (MSS) and a Master of Law and Social Policy (MLSP) from Bryn Mawr College (‘05). She has taught SWK 372: Healing Approaches to Trauma: Working with Individuals and Communities (online).
