Important Information for International Students
International students can return to campus the weekend of August 27, 2021.
- Returning to campus and vaccinations:
- In compliance with State and Federal recommendations, La Salle University will require all students arriving from an international destination to follow CDC International Travel Guidance. In order to better assist our student body in meeting these requirements, students arriving from an international destination must complete their International Student Return Travel Form by August 1, 2021.
- Prior To Travel: Students arriving from an international destination will be required to obtain viral testing no more than 3 days prior to departure. This test is not required to be submitted to the University, however, US Customs and individual airlines may require documentation. Please review your country of origin and specific airline requirements for travel.
- During Travel: Students are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth during all travel into and out of the United States. Students are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and avoid unnecessary contact with others.
- After Travel: All students arriving from an international destination are required to get a viral test 3-5 days after arrival in the US. La Salle University’s COVID Response Team will coordinate with students to allow for testing on campus.
- Vaccinated students (whom have submitted documentations to verify vaccination) will not be required to quarantine but should plan to monitor for the onset of any concerning symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms appear, they must immediately isolate and complete a COVID Disclosure Form.
- Unvaccinated students will be required to complete a 7-day quarantine period, regardless of the outcome of any COVID test results. If you are a residential student, the COVID Response Team will reach out to you directly after you have completed your International Student Return Travel Form.
- If you are a non-residential student, you will be required to make your own accommodations for quarantine. We understand these requirements can be challenging. Our team is here to support you in this process. All questions or concerns can be directed to COVID19@LaSalle.edu.

Fall 2021 COVID-19 Information
La Salle University is planning for a primarily in-person experience in Fall 2021, with a large number of undergraduate courses delivered either completely or partially in-person. The University is working to transition even more classes to in-person modality, depending upon City of Philadelphia restrictions in the months ahead.
