Chronic Illness

Chronic Illness can effect individuals of all backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, and age. College students are not immune to chronic disease/illness and may be attending college while also needing to coordinate the ongoing management of health. Most students are followed by their own physician/specialist with collaboration of care supported on campus by the Student Health Center. If you have a chronic condition, for which you would like to discuss arranging collaborative care on campus with the Student Health Center, please reach out to schedule a consultation by either emailing or calling at 215.951.1565.

Successful overall health and personal wellness is best achieved through education on healthy/productive lifestyle behavior and habits, avoidance of risky precautions, and active participation in engaging with a healthcare provider regularly. Below are a few information sheets about diabetes, asthma and seizure disorders for you to review and please call us with any questions or concerns.
