Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, England, UK, is located in the northwest of England, Lancashire District, near the lively cities of Liverpool and Manchester. It is a co-educational university of arts and sciences offering a wide variety of study choices. Situated in a charming thirteenth century market town in bucolic rural England, it is one of Edge Hill’s three campuses. There are over 7,000 commuter students with approximately 800 campus residents. Edge Hill has welcomed over 500 US students into its program in recent years, and it remains a popular destination for discerning study abroad students.

Country and/or City Information:
Ormskirk is a small friendly village with a population of approximately 30,000 people. It is located just thirty minutes from the cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Preston that provide varied nightlife, great shopping, a thriving arts scene, and all the attractions of city life.
Admission Requirements:
GPA 2.5 on 4.0 scale is required and students must be in good standing in their home institution. A passport and acceptance letter are also required.

Housing:
Students enjoy on-campus accommodations in a single private room with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities on each floor and a flexible meal plan allowing up to 12 meals per week on campus. Also included is support of the USA Student Liaison Professor, internet and e-mail access via the LRC and LINC buildings as well as services of the International Office.
Cost:
If you are a student at one of the US Lasallian universities or colleges, you will remain enrolled at your school and pay tuition and program fees there. Tuition is based on your campus tuition rates and may include an additional surcharge depending on the program. Contact the person on your campus responsible for study abroad.
