La Salle’s Day of Giving one for the record book
For seven straight years, La Salle University has called upon its global community to come together and make a difference for Explorers of today and tomorrow.
The eighth annual Day of Giving will be no different.
La Salle’s Day of Giving—on Tuesday, March 23—will bring together Explorers everywhere to help develop leaders and change lives.
“Our commitment to our mission and our core values of service, rooted in solidarity and justice, has not wavered since our founding 158 years ago,” said President Colleen M. Hanycz, Ph.D.
In recognition of that 158-year history, the University is seeking 1,580 unique individual donors in a 24-hour span on Day of Giving. This year’s Day of Giving, in part, will support La Salle’s historic commitment to first-generation students. More than 30 percent of La Salle’s students represent the first in their families to attend college.
“Every gift, no matter its size, will improve students’ accessibility to a high-impact, holistic Lasallian education,” Hanycz said.
All told, Day of Giving over the last seven years has raised more than $2.2 million in support of La Salle University.
