For his dedication to his students’ education and for many other cited qualities, Cesar Ruiz, SLP.D., associate professor of communication sciences and disorders, received the 2015 Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, presented at the Undergraduate Commencement ceremony.

“As a medical speech-language pathologist, I like bringing my clinical experiences into the classroom,” said Ruiz, who has taught at La Salle since 2002. “That is what I like about teaching at La Salle University. I have the opportunity to directly interact with students and meet them at whatever level they are.”
