  1. Admission Requirements

Priority Scholarship Consideration

A limited number of program-length scholarships are available. Priority consideration for these scholarships will be given to completed applications, including accompanying material, received by March 1 for the Fall semester or November 1 for the Spring semester. Applications received after the deadline may still considered for scholarship depending on scholarship availability.

Fall Priority Scholarship Consideration – March 1

Spring Priority Scholarship Consideration – November 1

Rolling Application Deadlines

Applications are reviewed as soon as they are completed and decisions are made throughout the admission cycle until all available spots are filled. Students may start in the Spring or Fall.

We will continue to review completed applications after the posted deadline as space allows. Please reach out to grad@lasalle.edufor more information.

Fall – August 10

Spring  – December 10

Admission Requirements

  1. A completed application
  2. Official transcript(s) from an accredited college/university where you earned your bachelor’s degree and, if applicable, master’s degree. If you are in the process of completing your undergraduate coursework, you may submit transcripts with courses that are in progress. If admitted, we must receive your final, official transcript with the degree conferred date prior to enrollment. You will be notified if you need to submit additional transcripts.
    1. In order for a transcript to be official, it must be received directly from the higher education institution or through an official third-party service such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts received from applicants and/or an unapproved third party will be considered unofficial.
  3. Two (2) letters of recommendation from an academic and/or professional reference
  4. Resume/CV
  5. Essay/Personal Statement
    1. Please outline your academic and professional goals, reasons for pursuing La Salle’s program, relevant experiences, and how this degree aligns with your future aspirations.
  6. A personal interview (in-person or online) may be requested to determine admissibility

Selection Criteria

La Salle University does not discriminate against any applicant based upon race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, sexual preference or orientation, marital, parental, family, and pregnancy status, gender identity, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any prohibited basis. Admission is based solely upon an applicant’s qualifications. Oral communication is an integral part of courses so student must be able to communicate well in English.

Transfer Credit

An applicant may request the transfer of graduate credit(s) earned at another institution. Each request will be evaluated on its own merits. Grades accepted for transfer must be “B” or better.  The student must supply a course description and syllabus in order to facilitate the transfer of credit. After matriculation at La Salle, students must have a course pre-approved by the director (in conjunction with the appropriate faculty member(s)) for it to be considered for transfer purposes. A maximum of six credits on the graduate level will be accepted for transfer purposes.
