Who is an International Student?

An international applicant is anyone who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. International students will need to hold or will obtain an F or J Visa to study in the United States.

Are you a First-Year, Transfer, or Graduate applicant?

If you are currently attending high school or a secondary school, you are a first-year applicant. You are a transfer applicant if you have graduated from high school or completed secondary school and have earned credits as a degree candidate at another college or university. You are a graduate applicant if you currently hold a bachelor’s degree.

Application Process

First-Year Application Checklist and Requirements

  • Official transcripts and secondary school reports from all high schools attended submitted by a school official, all with official English translations. Please note that all credentials must come with your final secondary school transcript and leaving exam scores if applicable. Also, please be sure to submit copies of all qualifying exams taken throughout secondary school (for example: IGCSE final certificates, Class 10 Secondary School Examination Certificates for India, etc.) as these are also necessary to complete your application.

Merit Scholarships and Grants

  • First-year students are eligible to apply for the Christian Brothers’ Scholarship.
  • First-year and transfer students who apply for admission are automatically considered for the Founder’s Scholarship, a merit scholarship ranging from $10,000-$20,000.
