Tom Adams joined the Accounting Department in the School of Business in 2019. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut. He completed his Ph.D. in accounting at Temple University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at La Salle University. Dr. Adams has experience in accounting practice, working as a Senior Associate in the Audit Practice of KPMG and as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Investor Relations department of Teleflex Incorporated. He has taught Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses for CPAs in the areas of financial reporting, auditing, and accounting analytics and currently serves as the subject matter expert and lead instructor for a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam prep company.
