The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approves La Salle University to offer Educator Preparation Programs designed to meet the educational requirements for Pennsylvania certification/licensure.

In accordance with applicable federal regulations, La Salle University has determined, on a program-by-program basis, whether its curriculum meets the educational requirements for educator certification/licensure in Pennsylvania and other U.S. states and territories. These determinations are based on current information and are subject to change.

Certification and licensure requirements are established by each state and may change without notice. Students who intend to seek certification/licensure outside of Pennsylvania are responsible for confirming applicable requirements with the appropriate state licensing agency before enrolling and throughout their program of study. Some states may require additional examinations, background clearances, clinical experiences, or performance assessments.

Students enrolled in education programs that include required field experiences, clinical placements, internships, or practica should also be aware that authorization to offer a program does not guarantee eligibility to complete placement requirements in another state.
