Application Questions

Who can I talk to go over my options?

Just send us an email at grad@lasalle.edu to schedule a 1:1 appointment with one of our counselors.

What do I need to apply?

Please visit our admission requirements page for more information. For domestic students, we require your resume/CV and official transcripts submitted to our application portal for an initial review. In some situations, you may be requested to submit a GMAT for additional consideration.

For international students, please visit our international applicant webpage.

When can I start?

Start terms vary depending on the modality and format of the MBA you select. Generally speaking, students can enroll in August, January or May. It may be possible for some students to begin mid-semester in October or March if they are interested in fully online courses. Our full-time MBA students tend to begin in August.

As always, reach out to grad@lasalle.edu for questions.

Do I need work experience to apply to the MBA program?

No. While work experience is not required, it is taken into consideration when reviewing your overall profile.

Is the GMAT/GRE required for admission?

GMAT/GRE requirements may be waived depending on prior academic performance or professional background. We encourage you to submit your completed application so we can let you know if the exam will be required.

Curriculum Questions

Can I take courses in-person or online?

Yes, we offer courses on campus and online. Our Online MBA is offered fully online and asynchronous. You never have to be on campus!

Our full-time or part-time MBA options offers both in-person and online courses.

When are courses offered?

We offer courses during the day (mornings and afternoons) in the full-time program and in the evening for our part-time or online students. Our MBA is designed to meet your preferences.

When are in-person classes?

For students in the full-time MBA program, classes are primarily offered during the days (Monday through Thursday) in the mornings and afternoons. There are a few evening course requirements and students may also find some courses fully online depending upon their specialization tracks.

For students in the part-time MBA program, classes are offered in the evening, in a hybrid format (50% online and 50% on campus).

When are synchronous, online classes held?

We do not offer synchronous online classes.

Are online MBA courses asynchronous?

Yes, our Online MBA is built for maximum flexibility. All courses are fully online and delivered asynchronously, so you can complete your assignments on your own schedule without needing to log in at a specific day or time.

Can I do the program part-time?

Yes. We’ve designed our MBA program for working professionals so you can take courses on a part-time basis. We also recognize the importance of program length and completion so you can even complete our MBA in one year!

How is the MBA curriculum structured?

All MBA formats share a curriculum built around these components:

  • Foundation courses
  • Core courses
  • Specialization courses
  • Executive perspective courses
  • An integrative capstone

Do all students need to take foundation courses?

No. Foundation courses are required only if a student lacks sufficient business background. They may be waived based on prior education or work experience. If you’re wondering if these courses can be waived, just reach out to us at grad@lasalle.edu.

What specializations are available in each MBA format?

And if you’re looking for the fastest path, you can even complete the MBA in one year provided you meet the requisite background. Reach out to grad@lasalle.edu if you want to learn more.

Can students take a semester off if needed?

Yes. Our personalized approach offers students the flexibility to take a pause if needed. However, the program must be completed within seven years from the time a student begins until their final course is finished.

Where can I find more detailed curriculum information?

  • Full-Time MBA
  • Online MBA
  • Part-Time Hybrid MBA

Tuition and Fees

How much is the program?

You can visit our Tuition and Fees page here.

Generally, tuition is billed per credit so each semester you are charged only for the number of credits you registered to take during that term. Please note that university fees will be charged every semester regardless of the amount of credits you take.

Full-time students are billed at a flat-tuition rate per semester.

The total cost of the program will depend on the total amount of credits you need, and this can vary based on your previous academic background.

Are there scholarships for MBA students?

Yes. A limited number of scholarships are available for both U.S. domestic and international students. Program scholarships are strictly merit-based.

Is the program eligible for FAFSA?

Yes, the program is eligible for FAFSA. For financial aid related questions, please visit our financial aid for graduate students webpage or reach out to us at grad@lasalle.edu.

International Applicants

Can international applicants apply?

Yes. International students are eligible to be admitted and enroll in our MBA.

If you completed your bachelor’s degree or any post-secondary education outside the U.S., you will need to submit a NACES evaluated transcript. This evaluation must be sent directly from the evaluating agency to your application to be considered official.

You may also be required to provide proof of English language proficiency. We accept scores from TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo. These must also be received directly from the testing agency to be considered official.

What is a NACES international evaluation?

A NACES international evaluation is a formal review of academic credentials earned outside the United States by an agency that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). The most common NACES evaluations we receive are from WES, TEC (formerly Spantran), or ECE. However, any NACES evaluator will be acceptable.

NACES evaluations must be received directly from the evaluating organization. Evaluations submitted by students are considered unofficial and will not meet application requirements.

Can Proof of English Language Proficiency be waived?

Proof of English Language Proficiency requirements may be waived upon request. An interview may need to be conducted to determine if a waiver can be provided. We encourage international applicants to prepare to take an approved test (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo) if a waiver is not provided.

Is the MBA program considered STEM?

Yes, our MBA is STEM‑designated if students complete the Business Systems and Analytics specialization track.

If you complete the MBA with the Business Systems and Analytics specialization, international students will qualify for 12 months of standard OPT available to all F‑1 visa graduates, and an additional 24‑month STEM OPT extension. This provides up to 36 months of total U.S. work authorization after graduation.

What MBA formats can international students apply for?

Due to federal regulations, students who require an F1 visa may only apply and enroll in graduate programs on a full-time basis.
