Dear Explorers,

The start of a new academic year is one of the most vibrant times for our campus. I was excited to welcome our second largest class of incoming students since 2019 to 20th and Olney alongside our returning Explorers.

This fall, I am as excited as ever to dig into our important work of equipping Explorers with the education, critical thinking, and Lasallian values they need to be ready for whatever life brings their way.

In May, we received the expected news that the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) officially reaffirmed La Salle’s accreditation, something I was incredibly grateful to share with our community. The decision acknowledges the momentous and transformative progress we’ve made as an institution over the past few years.

This is a reinforcement of our community’s hard work and dedication. La Salle has seen recent historic wins in our admissions applications, enrollment, residential students, and philanthropic giving. I am proud of all we’ve accomplished over the last few years, and I know our efforts will only continue to reap positive progress.

This milestone in our journey is integral to allowing La Salle’s mission to carry on for its students, Christian Brothers, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends for generations. This publication is a testament to just that. The stories within this edition of La Salle Magazine showcase the talent, generosity, and expertise we have within our Explorer community.

You’ll read about how our graduate programs help our students prepare for more, how generous donors continue to pay it forward through gifts that create direct impact, and how our academic programs provide hands-on learning, whether it’s in the classroom, in a clinic, or on the field.

A new academic year allows us to reflect, set new intentions, and start fresh on our goals. I look forward to the positive change we can have this year on our community, what records we can surpass, and what exciting new work lies ahead.

Through it all, I know the La Salle community will meet the moment and succeed.
