Swan, who joined the School of Nursing and Health Sciences as interim dean in 2025, will continue to build upon her strong commitment to the University, clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead, and leadership and drive needed to move key initiatives forward.  

“I am honored to serve as Dean and to lead a community dedicated to excellence in nursing and health sciences education. I am committed to supporting our students, empowering our faculty and professional staff, and strengthening partnerships that advance healthcare, scholarship, and service,” Swan said. “Together, we will prepare compassionate and competent healthcare providers who will make meaningful differences in the lives of those they serve.
