Ambassadors
WHO ARE THE AMBASSADORS?
Ambassadors serve as liaisons between the student body, the administration, the alumni and the entire university community. Members of the organization will represent La Salle at University functions including alumni receptions, homecoming, reunions, Parents’ Weekend, development affairs and other special events designated by the President of the University and the Vice President for University Advancement.
The Ambassador Program promotes:
- La Salle University
- Its interests and goals
- Traditions of the students, parents, alumni and friends
Similar to a student alumni association, Ambassadors are committed to the proposition that students’ involvement and support of their university should not end at graduation. The program is designed to recruit students who accurately represent the current student body of La Salle to former students, members of the La Salle community and its surrounding neighborhoods. Students serving as Ambassadors work to form mutually beneficial relationships among these groups. Student Ambassadors will have the opportunity grow socially and network through valuable interactions with various constituent groups of La Salle as well as develop leadership skills to help then become influential alumni.
