La Salle University welcomes students from other colleges/universities seeking to take courses at La Salle University as a non-matriculated student. Non-matriculating students are students taking courses for credit at La Salle University but have not officially been admitted into a La Salle University undergraduate or graduate program. Non-matriculated applicants attend part-time and may register for a maximum of SIX (6) total credits. Non-matriculated students are not seeking a degree from La Salle University. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. Applicants must meet specific admission requirements based on their highest education level and have any required course prerequisites.
The following items and supporting documents are required to enroll at La Salle as a non-matriculating or visiting student:
Official transcript from current or most recent institution attended with a 2.0 minimum GPA
Provide a permission letter or form from your “home” institution” allowing you to take specific courses at La Salle. It is expected that by providing this permission, the “home” institution assures La Salle that the applicant meets any course pre-requisites, the courses taken will be accepted back at the home institution, and that the student is in good academic and disciplinary standing.
The home institution must be a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
