Kathleen H. Neumeister, MSN, R.N.

Kathleen Neumeister received her BSN from Holy Family University in 1986, her MSN from La Salle University in 1993 and her School Nurse Certification from Widener University in 2000. In 1990 through the support of Project Hope, Kathy had the opportunity to teach Rehabilitation Nursing in Yerevan, Armenia for three months after the country experienced a devastating earthquake. She joined La Salle’s nursing faculty in 2003 and has taught a variety of clinicals including Pediatrics, Public Health, Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical, and Maternity. Prior to joining the faculty at La Salle University, Kathy was a nurse at Shriners Hospital for Children for 17 years, a nurse consultant for SPIN, Inc and an adjunct instructor for Temple University and Holy Family University. She has been an active member of SPIN’S Corporate Board for the past 7 years and she’s been the Board’s Secretary since 2016. Kathy was the La Salle University recipient of The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty, May 2017.
