Bachelor of Science in Public Health
La Salle University’s Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program educates individuals for interdisciplinary, collaborative health care practice in local, regional, national, and global environments. Graduates plan, implement, and evaluate health programs to improve the health of vulnerable and diverse groups through organized community efforts. The program prepares students for graduate study.
The Mission of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences emphasizes service, leadership, and scholarship. The BS in Public Health Program’s Mission is consistent with these goals and corresponds to the School’s commitment to service and leadership in underserved, vulnerable communities. Graduates pursue careers in health services systems so that health is promoted and disease is prevented at individual, family, professional, and community levels.
